Skoda Yeti: Decoding the Price Range of this Quirky and Capable Crossover

Skoda Yeti is a crossover, which won the hearts of many car enthusiasts with its original design, practicality and good cross-country ability. The model was presented in 2009 and immediately attracted attention with its unusual appearance. But it was produced for a short time, and in 2013 it was removed from production. In 2017, the manufacturer presented the successor of Yeti - the Skoda Karoq model.

Skoda Yeti was characterized by a bright design. Large round headlights, relief hood and plastic covers all over the body gave the car a brutal and funny look at the same time. Despite the compact size, Yeti had good cross-country ability due to high ground clearance and all-wheel drive system (on some modifications). Spacious interior with the ability to transform the rear seats, a lot of different compartments for storing small things made Yeti a comfortable car for daily use. The model is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, active safety is provided by bi-xenon headlights with rotary modules, and passive safety is provided by up to 9 airbags.

Skoda Yeti is built on the platform of Volkswagen A5 in the PQ35 version. The exterior of the car can be divided into 2 types:

• City - for the city, which are equipped with body-tone bumpers and protective side moldings.
• Outdoor - for off-roading, differ from the "urban" increased cross-country ability, increased ground clearance and protective covers on the body.

Off-road mode is used only in all-wheel drive versions. In Skoda Yeti model different technical solutions are used - DSG gearbox, Vario Flex rear seat transformation system and so on.
