SEAT is a compact hatchback produced by the Spanish company since 1984. Ibiza model is one of the most popular in Europe and has already managed to win the hearts of millions of motorists around the world. 1st generation Typ 021A (1984-1993) was a real hit and laid the foundation for further development of the model. The car was simple, affordable and reliable.

2nd generation Typ 6K (1993-2002) became more modern and comfortable. The car received a new design, more spacious interior and improved equipment. The body has not changed, as well as transmission options. As for powertrains, several variants were available: gasoline (from 60 hp to 150 hp) and diesel (from 68 hp to 110 hp). In 1996, the car received a facelift.

3rd generation Typ 6L (2002-2008) became more stylish, dynamic. The car received a new design, which is still considered one of the best in the history of Ibiza. The manufacturer decided not to change the body and gearbox, as well as engine options, but the latter became a little more powerful. For example, the gasoline engine had a power of up to 180 hp.

4th generation Typ 6J (2008-2017) received an updated design, which could be characterized as solid, restrained. It is worth noting that this generation was the first to feature the FR (Formula Racing) version with sporty design and settings.

  • engine type - gasoline (from 75 hp to 180 hp), diesel (from 90 hp to 150 hp).

5th generation (2017-present) is the most advanced to date. The car has received a lot of technologies, including an infotainment system with a touch screen, a driver assistance system and much more. This modification is presented in one body variant - a five-door hatchback with manual or automatic transmission. The engine type is either gasoline (from 95 hp to 150 hp), or diesel (from 95 hp to 115 hp). In 2021, the 5th generation received a restyling.
