Renault: price overview of the French manufacturer's cars

The history of Renault began with a bet made by Louis Renault. He promised that his car could climb the steep Montmartre hill in Paris. Winning the bet, Louis received the first 12 orders for the cars. In 1899, the Renault company was officially registered, which initially assembled cars from off-the-shelf components, but soon moved to the development of its own models. Louis Renault, being a talented engineer, received 700 patents. At the beginning of the 20th century, the brand became a pioneer in the field of car manufacturing, as it started producing taxis, buses and lorries. At that time, the company participated in races, achieving success.

In the 30s, despite the crisis, new models were developed - Juvaquatre and Primaquatre, which became popular due to affordability and reliability. After the Second World War the brand was nationalised, and it began to develop even more actively than before. In the 60s and 80s, the company was able to enter the global market, and in the 90s Renault entered into a strategic partnership with the Japanese company Nissan. This cooperation becomes one of the most successful in the history of the automotive industry. Since the 2000s, the brand has been actively engaged in electrification.

Today Renault is one of the largest automakers in the world, owns brands such as Dacia, Alpine and Samsung Motors, and still offers many cars for every budget. The company is involved in developing technology for the future of the car industry.
