Catalog / Nissan
Nissan is a Japanese manufacturer of passenger cars as well as commercial vehicles and buses. It is owned by Nissan Motor Co. which was founded in 1934 and is part of the Nissan Group. After World War II, the company survived by collaborating with the British Austin and producing licensed cars. The history of the brand begins in 1911, when Masujiro Hashimoto, after gaining experience in the United States, founded the Kwaishinsha car company (this is the later DAT Motorcar, producing the Datsun).
At the end of the 20th century, in 1983, the name Datsun was completely replaced by Nissan, the abbreviation of which stands for the words Nippon Sangyo, or Japanese Industry. In 1999, 35 per cent of Nissan's shares were acquired by the French company Renault (now it has 44.4 per cent of shares), and in 2002 Nissan bought 15 per cent of Renault's shares. Thus a close co-operation between the two brands was established.
Nissan's model range is represented by a large assortment of cars that meet the diverse needs and preferences of consumers:
- Let's start with popular SUVs such as the Nissan Qashqai and X-Trail, which stand out for their combination of comfort, style and off-road performance. These models are suitable for both city driving and long journeys outside the city.
- Equally interesting is the Nissan Altima sedan, which offers excellent fuel economy and performance.
- For those looking for something more compact and affordable, the Nissan Micra model is the perfect choice in terms of manoeuvrability and economy.
- Let's not forget about Nissan's electric line-up, including the Leaf model, which has an important place in the electric car market. The Leaf combines eco-friendliness and high technology, making it attractive to buyers looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
This diverse Nissan range allows everyone to choose the car that best suits their lifestyle and requirements.
