Fiat Fiorino: Decoding the Price Range of Italy's Nimble Urban Van

The Fiat Fiorino is a small van and pickup truck belonging to the M-segment, produced since 1977. The oldest of the vans in the Fiat lineup, and also the smallest. The Fiorino was originally based on the 127 and then Uno models. Starting with the third generation, it became an independent model. It is a joint creation of the PSA group, which includes Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat.

Fiat Fiorino I - 1977-1988 The car was built on the basis of the second generation of the model 127. In 1980, the car underwent a restyling. The car was also produced in Argentina by the Fiat Automóveis subsidiary Fiat Automóveis from 1977-1988. The car was based on the 1976-86 Model 147 and the 1971-95 Model 127. Other names include Fiat 147 Pick-Up City, Emelba 127 Poker and SEAT Fiorino. Fiat Fiorino II - 1988-2013. The car was based on the Fiat Uno model. The car was equipped with two gasoline engines of 1.1 liters (60 hp) and 1.4 liters, as well as one diesel engine of 1.7 liters. The car was available in both van and pickup versions. The last version was produced until 1999, after which it was replaced by a completely new model Strada on the South American market in 1998. The European version of the Fiorino II was modernized in 1997, which included changes in the appearance of the front fascia (headlights and bumpers), as well as taillight inserts. Sales of the model continued in Europe until December 2000. In Brazil, the Florino was produced until 2014.

Fiat Fiorino III - since 2008. The car was created in cooperation with the French automobile concern PSA. Within the framework of cooperation, twin models were built: Fiorino, Citroën Nemo and Peugeot Bipper on the basis of GM Fiat SCCS platform. The car together with its twin models received the title "Van of the Year 2009". In 2008, during the Geneva Motor Show a passenger version of the car was presented under the name Fiat Qubo.
